Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to United Cellular. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, eunited.co.za, and any products or services purchased through the website.

Throughout these Terms, “United Cellular”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the business operating eunited.co.za. “You”, “your”, and “customer” refer to any person or business accessing the website or purchasing from us.

By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or reduce any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any other applicable South African law.

2. Business Information

This website is operated by:

Business name: United Cellular
Email address: eunitedstore@gmail.com
Website: eunited.co.za

3. Eligibility to Use the Website

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or are using the website with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

  • You have the legal authority to place an order and make payment.

  • You will not use the website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

4. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices, specifications, compatibility information, and stock availability are accurate.

However:

  • Product colours and appearance may differ slightly depending on your device or screen.

  • Product packaging may change without notice.

  • Images may be used for illustration purposes.

  • Minor specification changes may be introduced by manufacturers.

  • Typographical or technical errors may occasionally occur.

Where a material error affects an order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, which may include correcting the order, selecting an alternative product, or receiving a refund.

5. Product Compatibility

Many products sold by United Cellular, including replacement parts, screens, chargers, repair tools, electronic components, and accessories, may be designed for specific models or technical applications.

Before placing an order, you are responsible for checking:

  • The exact device make and model.

  • Part numbers and connector types.

  • Voltage, wattage, dimensions, and other specifications.

  • Whether the product is suitable for its intended application.

You may contact us for assistance before ordering. Any compatibility guidance we provide will be based on the information supplied by you and the product information reasonably available to us.

This section does not limit your rights where a product is defective, incorrectly supplied, materially different from its description, or unsuitable for a purpose that you specifically communicated to us and that we accepted.

6. Orders

Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order is accepted only when:

  • We confirm that the products are available;

  • Payment has been received or verified, where applicable; and

  • We send confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched.

An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • The price or product information contains a clear error;

  • Payment cannot be verified;

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;

  • Delivery to the selected location is unavailable; or

  • The order violates these Terms or applicable law.

Where we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.

7. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it. Products may become unavailable before checkout or before payment is confirmed.

Where an ordered product is unavailable, we will contact you and offer one of the following:

  • A suitable replacement, subject to your approval;

  • A revised delivery date;

  • Store credit, where accepted by you; or

  • A refund for the unavailable product.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your consent.

8. Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Prices include Value Added Tax where VAT is legally applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and any additional fees will be displayed during checkout before you complete your order.

We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting the order. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item for a refund.

9. Payments

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout and may include Electronic Funds Transfer, card payment, or another approved payment method.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

Orders paid by Electronic Funds Transfer will only be processed after the payment has cleared and can be verified in our bank account. Proof of payment alone may not constitute cleared payment.

You are responsible for using the correct order number or payment reference.

We will never ask you to send your bank password, PIN, card PIN, or one-time password to us.

10. Delivery

Delivery times shown on the website are estimates unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Courier delays;

  • Public holidays;

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery details;

  • Remote-area delivery schedules;

  • Stock availability;

  • Severe weather;

  • Industrial action;

  • Security incidents; or

  • Other circumstances reasonably beyond our control.

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the order.

Ownership and risk will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law. Nothing in these Terms transfers delivery risk to a consumer earlier than permitted by law.

Please inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible and notify us promptly if it appears damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.

11. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Addresses

Where delivery cannot be completed because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, or nobody was available to receive the order after reasonable delivery attempts, additional delivery charges may apply before the parcel is resent.

We will not charge additional delivery costs where the failed delivery was caused by our error or the courier acting on our behalf.

12. Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation before an order has been dispatched.

Where the order has already been dispatched, the cancellation or return will be handled according to our Returns and Refund Policy and applicable South African law.

Certain online transactions may qualify for a statutory cooling-off period. Any applicable cooling-off right, exclusion, return cost, and refund will be handled in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Special-order, personalised, custom-manufactured, opened, or technically installed items may be subject to lawful cancellation or return limitations, depending on the circumstances and applicable legislation.

13. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and defective-product claims are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in that policy or these Terms limits a customer’s legal rights regarding unsafe, defective, poor-quality, incorrectly supplied, or misrepresented goods.

Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, qualifying defective goods may carry an implied warranty of quality for six months after delivery, subject to the circumstances and exclusions permitted by law.

14. Installation and Technical Products

Certain products should only be installed or used by a suitably trained or qualified technician.

This may include:

  • Replacement screens and electronic components;

  • Batteries and charging components;

  • Soldering and rework equipment;

  • Power supplies;

  • Electrical tools;

  • Chemicals and adhesives; and

  • Products requiring disassembly of a device.

You must follow the manufacturer’s safety, installation, storage, and operating instructions.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised modification, use outside the manufacturer’s specifications, or failure to follow safety instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Installation by a third party does not automatically remove your statutory rights regarding an original manufacturing defect. However, damage caused by the installation itself may not qualify as a product defect.

15. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may include an additional manufacturer or supplier warranty.

Any additional warranty operates alongside, and does not replace or reduce, rights available under applicable consumer law.

Manufacturer warranty claims may require:

  • Proof of purchase;

  • The product’s serial number;

  • Diagnostic information;

  • Inspection of the product; or

  • Return of the product and its supplied accessories.

Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, electrical surges, incorrect voltage, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear may fall outside an additional manufacturer warranty.

16. Wholesale and Business Customers

We may offer wholesale pricing, business accounts, volume discounts, or trade terms to approved customers.

Wholesale access is subject to approval and may require business information or supporting documentation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Wholesale pricing may change without notice.

  • Quotes are valid only for the period stated on the quotation.

  • Stock is not reserved until payment or an agreed purchase order is accepted.

  • Credit facilities are not provided automatically.

  • Resale prices are determined independently by the reseller.

  • Special-order or bulk-order products may be subject to additional terms.

The application of consumer-protection legislation to a business transaction may depend on the nature of the transaction and the customer. Nothing in these Terms excludes any protection that applies by law.

17. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain website features.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login information confidential;

  • Providing accurate account details;

  • Restricting unauthorised access to your account; and

  • Informing us promptly if you suspect unauthorised activity.

We may suspend or close an account where it is used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

18. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the website for an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or another user’s account;

  • Introduce malicious code, viruses, bots, or harmful technology;

  • Scrape, copy, or extract website data without permission;

  • Interfere with the website’s security or operation;

  • Submit false reviews or misleading information;

  • Impersonate another person or business; or

  • Use our content or branding in a misleading or unauthorised manner.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers, or our business.

19. Intellectual Property

All website content, including our branding, logos, graphics, text, photographs, page layouts, and original website materials, is owned by or licensed to United Cellular and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our original content without prior written permission.

Third-party product names, trademarks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

20. Product Reviews and Submitted Content

Where you submit a review, image, comment, or other content, you confirm that:

  • The content is accurate and based on your genuine experience;

  • You have the right to submit it;

  • It is not unlawful, abusive, defamatory, deceptive, or infringing; and

  • It does not contain malicious code or confidential information.

You grant us permission to display, reproduce, and use the submitted content for operating and promoting our business, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual-property laws.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

21. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, courier companies, social-media platforms, analytics services, and external websites.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent content, security, availability, or conduct of third-party websites, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible for a service provider acting on our behalf.

22. Personal Information and Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act.

Personal information may be used for purposes such as:

  • Processing and delivering orders;

  • Managing payments;

  • Providing customer support;

  • Preventing fraud;

  • Maintaining customer accounts;

  • Fulfilling legal and accounting obligations; and

  • Sending marketing communications where legally permitted.

Please read our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

23. Electronic Communications

By using the website or contacting us electronically, you consent to receiving transactional communications electronically, including order confirmations, invoices, delivery updates, support responses, and legal notices.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe option or contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent necessary transactional communications regarding an active order or account.

24. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

We will provide our website, products, and services with the standard of care required by applicable law.

To the fullest extent lawfully permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by:

  • Misuse of a product;

  • Incorrect installation;

  • Unauthorised modification;

  • Use contrary to instructions;

  • Incompatible equipment where the customer selected the product without relying on an accepted suitability recommendation from us;

  • Temporary website interruptions; or

  • Circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused unlawfully, defective or unsafe products where liability applies, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

25. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify United Cellular against third-party claims resulting directly from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of another person’s rights, fraudulent activity, or deliberate breach of these Terms.

This indemnity does not apply to losses caused by our own unlawful conduct, negligence where liability cannot be excluded, or breach of statutory obligations.

26. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and secure, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify or discontinue website features, provided that doing so does not unlawfully affect accepted orders or existing customer rights.

27. Errors and Corrections

We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate descriptions, stock information, pricing mistakes, or technical errors.

Where a correction materially affects an order already placed, we will inform you and handle the order fairly in accordance with applicable law.

We will not use an error as a reason to avoid an order that has already created binding legal obligations where doing so would be unlawful.

28. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve your complaint promptly.

When submitting a complaint, please provide:

  • Your full name;

  • Order number;

  • A clear description of the issue;

  • Relevant photographs or supporting information; and

  • The resolution you are requesting.

If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint directly, you may have the right to approach an applicable consumer-protection body, ombud, regulator, tribunal, or court.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any dispute-resolution right available under South African law.

29. Governing Law

These Terms and transactions made through eunited.co.za are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute will be handled by a court, tribunal, ombud, regulator, or other forum with lawful jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from approaching a forum available under applicable consumer-protection legislation.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with the updated revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or obligations relating to an order already accepted unless permitted by law or agreed with the customer.

31. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

32. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Returns and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and any specific written terms accepted for an order, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and purchases from us.

Where there is a conflict, mandatory South African law will take priority.
